We live and die inside the same patterns of day to day actions and with pretty much the same set of beliefs, thoughts, and opinions. We recycle the latest buzzwords and latest social opinions as popular justifications for our fixed views. Instead of reevaluating our views we spend time accumulating as much evidence as possible for them. Stepping back from this, it is - absurd! 80 years to live and 1 religion, political view, and a handful of ways to be with other people (talkative, quiet, avoiding, dominants, etc..) And then some of us wind up running a company or leading others! All of these patterns are designed to have you survive; survive other people, survive risking yourself, survive looking stupid. Your world view is "right" and damn it, it must survive. The goal is to keep your head low and fit in. In the end you have survived your one and only life - not lived it and grown damn little after about 20 years old. And the cost of this survival is your creativity, innovation, freedom, and aliveness! But you're "safe" and "normal". What a waste of a life! The freedom to invent, explore, and fail again and again - and love game is what this talk explores WALK is a powerful analogy for what is possible when you LET GO.
